    MRS. EVA COCHRAN

    Eva Sarah Cochran of Route 6 died Thursday, May 28, 1959, at a Topeka hospital. She was 89.

    Mrs. Cochran was born April 19, 1870, in Creighton, Mo. She came to Kansas in 1878 and settled near Kiro.

    She was a member of the Kansas Avenue Methodist Church and the Indian Creek Grange.

    Surviving relatives include two daughters, Mrs. Will L. Jones and Mrs. Lola Ridgeway, both of Topeka; four sons, C. V. Cochran , J. F. Cochran, Joe Cochran, and Raymond Cochran, all of Route 6; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Loleta Kinniard of Silver Lake and Mrs. Daisy Edson of San Diego, Calif.

    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Parker Mortuary, with burial in Prairie Home Cemetery.
