MARYSVILLE --- Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Kinsley Mortuary for W.W. “Bill” Cockerill, 71, Marysville, who died Thursday, February 3, 1983, at a Marysville hospital.
He was born Aug. 3, 1911, the son of R. Laud and Elsie Van Amburg Cockerill.
Mr. Cockerill was a farmer and lived in the Marysville area most of his life.
He was married to Mary E. Lloyd April 11, 1931 at Minneapolis. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Robert D. Cockerill, Marysville; a daughter, Patsy R. Hogan, Delia; two sisters, Ruth Kossow, Marysville, and Allene Miller, Pismo Beach, Calif.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Deer Creek Cemetery.
