    Frances L. “Fran” Coe

    Frances Leona “Fran” Coe, 46, Topeka, died Sunday, July 15, 1990, at a Topeka hospital.

    She was born July 22, 1943, at Corning, the second child of Floyd and Nettie Tefft Coe.

    Fran graduated from Corning Rural High School and was salutatorian of her class. She passed a correspondence course in accounting, and took several courses in computer programming.

    She was employed by the Kansas Army National Guard as a Civil Service clerk/typist GS4. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working in her garden and with her flowers and other yard work.

    She is survived by two daughters, Deanna Lynn Bush, Wichita, and Kimberly Ann Parton, Hinesville, Ga.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Coe, Rossville; a sister, Rachel E. Ray, Augusta; four brothers, Leonard E. Coe, Longmont, Colo., Edward N. Coe, Huntington, Ark., Dale L. Coe, Rossville, and William David Coe, Topeka; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka with the Rev. Billy Hunt officiating. Burial was in Centralia Cemetery in Nemaha County.
