    ALLEN L. COLCHER

    Allen L. “Brady” Colcher, 80, Topeka, died Wednesday, November 26, 1980, at a Topeka nursing home where he had lived since 1973.

    He was born October 3, 1900, near Alma, the son of Nelson and Angie Beard Colcher. He lived in Topeka since 1943.

    Mr. Colcher was a barber and had a shop at Paxico for many years. He later had shops at Rossville and Topeka.

    He was married to Myrtle Mae Bryant September 9, 1924, at Topeka. She died August 30, 1967. A son, Nolan Dean Colcher, died March 13, 1972.

    Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eva E. Murphy, St. Marys, and Mrs Dixie M Kietzman, Kansas City, eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

    Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Davidson-Duff Funeral Home. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery, south of Paxico.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Davidson-Duff Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, south of Paxico. Mr. Colcher will lie in state after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home where the family will meet with friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Friday.
