Remonia G. Richardson-Colson, 60, Rossville, died Thursday, February 24, 2000 at the Adult Living Center in Rossville. She was born May 25, 1939 at Red Boiling Springs, TN, the daughter of Odel and Atherine Leonard Davis.
Remonia grew up in Indiana, where she was graduated from high school. She had moved to the Rossville community in the late 1960s, and had worked several years at the Rossville Valley Manor. She had attended the Rossville Christian Church.
On April 12, 1962, she was married to John B. Richards, Jr. He died in April 1970. On October 13, 1972, she married Alan D. Colson in Rossville. He survives
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Donald Richardson, Richmond, VA, and Dean Richardson, Topeka; a daughter, Debbie Copeland, Rossville, a sister Barbara Fonseth, Fountaintown, IN; a brother, Dean Davis in Texas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation was from 2:00 until l7:30 Sunday at the Piper Funeral Chapel in Rossville. Her service as at 1 p.m. Monday afternoon at the Rossville Christian Church. Burial was in the Rossville Cemetery.

ROSSVILLE — Remonia G. Richardson-Colson, 60, Rossville, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at a Rossville nursing home.
Mrs. Richardson-Colson worked at the Rossville Valley Manor for several years.
She was born May 25, 1939, in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., the daughter of Odell and Atherine Leonard Davis. She was raised in Indiana and graduated from high school in Indiana. She had lived in Rossville since the late 1960s.
Mrs. Richardson-Colson attended Rossville Christian Church.
She married John B. Richardson Jr. on April 12, 1962. He died in April 1970. She married Alan D. Colson on Oct. 13, 1972, in Rossville. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Donald Richardson, Richmond, Va., and Dean Rich¬ardson, Topeka; a daughter, Debbie Copeland, Rossville; a sister, Barbara Fonseth, Fountain- town,. Ind.; a brother, Dean Davis, in Texas; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Ross¬ville Christian Church. Burial will be in Ross¬ville Cemetery. Mrs. Richardson-Colson will lie in state from 2 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Piper Funeral Chapel in Rossville.
