    Mrs. Grace Compton
    Mrs. Grace Compton, 74, of Waverly, died Monday in a Topeka hospital. She was born March 12, 1877, in the Indian Creek community north of Topeka and spent most of her life there. She had been a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church for 50 years.
    She leaves her husband, Guy Compton, of Waverly; a son, Otis W. Compton, Wakarusa; two daughters, Mrs. Leah Carroll, Rossville, and Mrs. Ina Shenk, Wichita; five grandchildren and a brother, Will Kistler, Mule Shoe, Texas. The funeral was held Wed. at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, Topeka, with burial in the Rochester Cemetery.
