    Roxie Cooper
    DELIA — Roxie Cooper, 92, Delia, died Friday, Sept. 29, 1989, at a hospital in Kansas City, Kan. She had suffered a stroke on Sept. 15, 1989, and had been hospitalized since.
    Mrs. Cooper and her husband farmed in the Delia community, and she lived in Delia after his death.
    She was born Oct. 12, 1896, in Frankfort, the daughter of John and Nora Wilson Pur¬nell.
    Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
    She was married to John E. Cooper on June 28, 1916, in Frankfort, He died in 1965.
    A daughter, Anna Cooper, died in 1933.
    Survivors include a son, the Rev. Leo Coo¬per, Kansas City, Kan.: two daughters, Alice Clark, Juniata, Neb., and Sister Leo Marie, Leavenworth; two sisters, Minnie Umphries, Frankfort, arid Laura Whitebread, Salina; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchild¬ren.
    Mrs. Cooper will lie in state at the Porter and Sons Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kan., from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with Rosaries at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Monday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kan. Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Holy Cross Cemetery in Emmett.

    Mass of Christian Burial was Monday. October 2 at noon at
    St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kansas City. Graveside service was at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Holy Cross Cemetery in Em-mett.
    Porter and Sons Funeral Home in Kansas City was in charge of

    arrangements.
