    Juanita M. Cormack
    ROSSVILLE- Juanita M. Cormack, 92, Rossville, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
    She was born January 27, 1916, at Osage City, the daughter of James and Rhoda Belle Voorhis Neilson.
    Mrs. Cormack had worked for Peoples State Bank in Rossville for almost 28 years before retiring in November 1977. She had held several positions at the bank and was serving as Vice President when she retired.
    She was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cormack was a 50+ year member of the Order of Eastern Star first with Amaryllis Chapter No. 321 at Rossville where she was a Past Worthy Matron, and later with Loyal Chapter No 176 at Silver Lake.
    On May 9, 1939 she was united in marriage to Clifford J. Cormack at Fall City, NE. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1996. Mrs. Cormack was also preceded in death by her parents, and six brothers, Orville, Charles, Olin, Vernon, Claude and Bill Neilson.
    Survivors include nieces and nephews, Larry & Carol Neilson, Kathy Bredahl, Lorraine Breitweiser, Bob McDonald, Bessie Grace & Lloyd Dobler, Claudine & Delmar MacArthur, Donna Foltz, Mildred & Pete Traw, Thelma & Jim Pollom, Mike & Shirley Cormack and Tom and Barbara Cormack.
    Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys where Loyal Chapter No 176 will conduct Eastern Star services. Interment will be in the Rossville Cemetery. Mrs. Cormack will lie in state from 12:00 until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice House and sent in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.piperfuneralhome.com.
