    Sarah Eversole
    Sarah Ralston Eversole, 96, 137 Roosevelt Ave., a 71-year resident of Pocatello, died Monday morning in the Bannock Regional Medical Center.

    She was born Feb. 6, 1889 in Springdale, Ark., to Tom and Selina Carolina Ferguson Ralston.

    She married John J. Eversole July 26, 1912, in Springdale. They moved to Pocatello March 17, 1914, and she has resided at her present residence since 1925. Mr. Eversole died May 10, 1943.

    She was employed as a clerk in the People's Store for several years.

    She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Glade Beavers, California; a grandson, Thomas Young Eversole, a graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1965, and presently a commander in the U.S. Navy serving out of Washington, D.C.; and two nephews, Dale Nyman and Vernon McGaugh, both of Pocatello. She was preceded in death by a son, John Thomas Eversole, who graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1938, and was one of the first American fliers to be shot down in the 1942 battle at Midway. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

    Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Henderson Funeral Chapel. Friends may call at the Henderson Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th, Friday and Saturday until time of the services. Burial will be in the family plot in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Eversole may be given to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Fund.
