Betty E. Corwin, 69, Topeka, died Wednesday, September 4, 1996, at her home.
She was born December 13, 1926, in Rossville, the daughter of Joseph Marney and Rose M. Ropp. She was reared in Rossville and lived most of her life in Topeka.
She married Billy D. Corwin on April 22, 1943, at Lyndon. He died March 31, 1980.
Survivors include two daugh¬ters, Debbie K. Myers and Cheryl R. Gordon, both of Topeka; a son, Billy d. Corwin II, Topeka; two sis¬ters, Fleta Jones and Nadine Berry, both of Topeka; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Her service was at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Relatives and friends met from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home.
