    Death of Mrs. Welton
    Mrs. Lourance Parr Welton died at her home near Topeka Nov. 8. The funeral was held from the home on the following day and the burial was in the Rochester cemetery.

    Mrs. Welton was 65 years old. She was born in Clay county, Ind., but had lived in Kansas since she was 17 years old. She has been in ill health almost three years. Besides her husband Wilmer Welton, Mrs. Welton is survived by her mother, five daughters, three sons, three sisters and five brothers. She had been a member of the Methodist church since 17 years old and a consistent Christian.

    Mr. and Mrs. Joe Parr, Mr. and Mrs. James Parr, Mrs. John Parr, Mrs. H.L. Stratton, Mrs. Shidler and Mrs. Cless, and of Rossville, attended the funeral.
