Mrs. Ella B. Cottle, 68, 1311 Polk, died Thursday morn¬ing in a Topeka hospital after a brief illness.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sewell Brashear, she was born Feb. 2, 1893, at Rossville. She was a mem¬ber of the Methodist Church and Beulah Chapter No. 34 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her hus¬band, .Joseph M. Cottle of the home; five sons, Ernest Cot¬tle of South Gate, Calif., Ray¬mond Cottle of Wamego, Capt. Joe Cottle of the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Dreux Air Force Base in France, Donald Cottle, 2324 E. 22nd St. Terr., and Robert Cottle of Lawrence; two daughters, Mrs. Reva Blanchard, 1610 W. 22nd, and Mrs. Darlene Flickinger, 1933 Lincoln; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a broth¬er, Walter Brashear of Val¬ley Falls.
The Parker Mortuary will announce arrangements. Burial will be at Rossville.
