    Francis Jessepe

    ROSSVILLE, KS – Francis R. Jessepe, 69, of Rossville passed away Monday, December 14, 2020, at Shawnee Medical Center due to complications from Covid 19 and pneumonia.

    He was born May 8, 1951, in Manhattan, Kansas the son of Phillip E. and Angeline (Belair) Jessepe. He was raised in Topeka and graduated from Seaman High School. Francis was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribe.

    He is survived by his sisters, Karen S. Jessepe and Elvon M. Belair both of Topeka; and his brothers, Boyce Alfonso Jessepe (Address Unknown) and Ewart Coy Jessepe (Julie) of Mayetta. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Billie L. Jessepe.

    Francis will lie in state at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton beginning Saturday afternoon, December 19, 2020, through Sunday, December 20, 2020, until 6:00 p.m. each day. Private family graveside services will be held later.
