    Raymond Cottle
    Raymond L. Cottle, 89, Wamego, died Tuesday, April 9, 2001, at his home.
    He was born December 25, 1911, in Rossville, the son of Jo-seph Morgan and Ella B. Brashear Cottle. He attended school in Wamego, where he graduated high school in 1930.
    Mr. Cottle was a 79-year mem¬ber of Wamego United Methodist Church, a past master of Wamego Masonic Lodge No. 75, and past
    president and secretary of the Wamego Country Club. He was active in sports in high school and was an avid golfer.
    On May 19, 1936, he married Georgia Ellen Forrester in Wamego. She survives.
    Other survivors include a daughter, Marajo Ackley, Wa¬mego; a brother, Robert Cottle, Phoenix; two sisters, Reva Blan¬chard, Topeka, and Darlene Flickinger, Belle Plaine; three grand-children and seven great-grand¬children.
    His memorial service was at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Wamego United Methodist Church. Inurn¬ment in Wamego City Cemetery was private.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Wamego Public Li-brary Children’s Section and sent in care of Stewart Funeral Home, P.O. Box 48, Wamego 66547.

    WAMEGO — Raymond L. Cottle, 89, Wamego, died Tuesday, April 9, 2001, at his home
    Mr. Cottle was a district manager for Farm Bureau.
    He was born Dec. 20, 1911, in Rossville, the son of Joseph Morgan and Ella B. Brashear Cottle. He attended school in Wamego, where he graduated from high school in 1930.
    Mr. Cottle was a 79-year member of Wamego United Methodist Church, past master of Wamego Masonic Lodge No. 75 and past president and sec¬retary of the Wamego Country Club. He was active in sports in high school and was an avid golfer.
