    Samuel Cottle
    Services are pending at Davidson-Duff Funeral Home for Samuel Henry Cottle, 78, Rossville, who died Wednesday at a Topeka hospital.
    He was born June 12, 1894, in Rossville, where he spent all his life as a farmer.
    He was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion Post, Hesperian Lodge No. 111, AF&AM, the United Methodist Church and Modern Woodmen of America, all in Rossville.
    He was married to the former Goldie Rouse April 5, 1921. She survives.
    Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Donnice English, Chicago, and two grandsons.
