| Obituary- Cottrell, Dorothy 1 DOROTHY COTTRELL
Mrs. Dorothy Cottrell, 70, Rossville, died Thursday, October 14, 1982, at her home.
She was born May 13, 1912, at Denver, Colo., the daughter of Clarence and May Offenstein Mendenhall. She lived in Topeka from 1955 to 1960, when she moved to Rossville.
Mrs. Cottrell worked at Safeway Stores at Topeka and was a member of First Baptist Church at Ellsworth.
She married Theodore Cottrell January 15, 1932, at Andover. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Darlene Paine, Rossville; three sisters, Mrs. Juanita Johnson, Spokane, Wash., and Marilyn Mendenhall and Judy Mendenhall, both in Florida; a brother, Emery Mendenhall, Augusta; five grandchildren; and five great¬grandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial was in Rossville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
