    Kathy Cummings Passes Away
    St. Marys—Karen Kathleen “Kathy “ Cummings, 54, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 from injuries she sustained in an auto accident.

    She was born July 10, 1965 in Topeka, the daughter of the late David J. “Joe” and Karen A. Miller Schoemann. Kathy grew up in the St. Marys community and graduated from St. Marys High School in 1983.

    Kathy had been a CNA at the St. Marys Manor; she had worked at the B&B Café and Bernie’s, TRA and later at Andax Industries all in St. Marys. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys.

    On August 22, 1987 she was united in marriage to Robert L. “Bob” Cummings in St. Marys. He survives of the home.

    Other survivors include her two sons, Ryan Cummings, Belvue and Shawn (Amira) Cummings, Manhattan; two brothers, David Schoemann, St. Marys and Scott (Daphne) Schoemann, Belvue; two grandchildren, Keaton and Brynlee Cummings, several nieces and nephews.
