  Obituary- Adams, Esther Esther F. Adams Wamego – Esther F. Adams, 86, of Wamego, KS and a longtime resident of rural St. George, KS, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in Wamego, KS. Esther was born February 26, 1925 in Wamego, KS, the daughter of Ernest M. Prickett and Marguerite (Welch) Prickett. Esther married Robert G. Adams on May 11, 1946; he preceded her in death in 1993. Esther is survived by her daughter, Brigette (Barbara) Adams, of Ohio; two sisters: Phyllis Riat of Belvue, KS and Joanne Hoogstraten of Michigan; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert. Esther’s remains were bequeathed to the University of Kansas, School of Medicine. A memorial service for Mrs. Adams will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Belvue United Methodist Church, Belvue, KS.
