    MANUEL COXEN
    Manuel Coxen, 73, Osage City, died Friday, June 5, 1981, at an Emporia hospital. He had cancer.
    He was born December 26, 1907, near Carbondale, the son of Albert and Mary Johnson Coxen. He moved from Lyndon to Osage City in 1929.
    Mr. Coxen was a brick and stonemason.
    He was a member of Brick and Stonemason Union Local No. 3 at Topeka and the Church of Christ.
    He was married to Helen Mueller February 1, 1930, at Lyndon. She survives.
    Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Alice Caton, Rossville, and Lela Coxen, of the home; a son, Alan Coxen, Bartlesville, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. Erma Behrens, Overbrook, Mrs. Inez Hipsher, Mrs. Ruby Haid and Mrs. Elsie Lindburg, all of Topeka; and six grandchildren.
    Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Crable Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Osage City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Maude Carpenter Children’s Home in care of the funeral home.
