When Kerry graduated from Wamego High School, he studied and became a dental technician at Dick's Dental Lab.
Kerry completed the Wamego Police Reserve Academy training and started his law enforcement career March, 1995 as a Reserve Officer at Wamego. After successfully completing Kansas Law Enforcement training, he transitioned to a position with the Wamego PD in 1997. Kerry had many friends and he will be solely missed. Kerry was a very outgoing person, always ready to give a helping hand or an encouraging, cheerful word to those in need.
His hobbies included woodcarving, restoring jeeps and researching how to fix anything that needed fixing - a real "jack of all trades." Kerry loved animals - especially his little dog.
