    Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Crawshaw will celebrate their wedding anniversary January 6,1985 with a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rossville Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.

    The reception will be hosted by their children, Marjorie and John Kratina, Rossville; Robert and Jo Ann Crawshaw, Silver Lake; Barbara and David Hitchcock, Frankfort, Germany; and also their grandchildren, John and Cythina Kratina, Topeka; Tamela and Dennis Biswell, Topeka; Jimmy and Chris Crawshaw, Silver Lake, and Jo Ann and Jacson Hitchcock, Frankfort, Germany.

    Elmer Crawshaw and Agnes Fleming were married in the First Methodist Church at Topeka January 2,1935.

    Elmer J. Crawshaw
    Elmer John Crawshaw, 91, Topeka, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2002, at a Topeka care home.
    Mr. Crawshaw farmed and raised livestock near Silver Lake his entire life.
    He was born June 20, 1911, in Wakarusa, the son of John Thomas and Bessie Rae Miller Crawshaw. He lived most his life in the Silver Lake area.
    Mr. Crawshaw was a member of Rossville Presbyterian Church, where he served for 16 years as an elder. He served on the Walnut School Board, the Grove Elevator Board, and the Farm Bureau Board for Shawnee County and for Grove Township for the Agricultural Hall of Fame. He also was a 4-H livestock leader.
    He married Agnes B. Fleming on Jan.2, 1935, in Topeka. She survives.
    Other survivors include a son, Robert E. Crawshaw, Silver Lake; two daughters, Marjorie A. Kratina, Rossville, and Barbara J. Hitchcock, Silver Lake; two brothers, Franklin Crawshaw, Eudora, and Woodrow Crawshaw, Topeka; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
    Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Parker Price Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Mr. Crawshaw will lie in state at the mortuary after noon Sunday. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m.
