    Clifford E. Daniels
    Clifford E. Daniels, 71, Topeka, died early Monday, Dec. 28, 1992, at a Topeka hospital.
    Mr. Daniels was an auto body re¬pairman and painter. He worked or Scott Chevrolet, then owned and op¬erated Kansas Avenue Body Shop in the early 1950s to the late 1960s. He later worked for Tom Mix Rambler, Lou McKernan and then for Jim Clark Motors before he retired in 1981.
    He was an Army veteran of World War II.
    He was born July 9, 1921, in Ross¬ville, the son of Franklin Earl and Edith M. Ticknor Daniels.
    Mr. Daniels was a member of the Catholic Church of the Assumption.
    He was married to Lucille Hefner April 15, 1944, in Topeka. She died Feb. 17, 1987.
    Survivors include three daughters, Raelene Reed, Topeka, Dianna Dan¬iels, Bedford, Texas, and Melody Daniels, at home; a son, William Dan¬iels, at home; a sister, Florence Kesler, Rossville; a brother, W. Glen Dan¬iels, Topeka; and two grandsons.
    Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Catholic Church of the Assumption. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Daniels will lie in state after 2 p.m. Wednes¬day at Brennan Funeral Home where a parish prayer service will be con¬ducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
