Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka for David William Cunningham, 66, Rossville. He was declared dead on arrival Friday, August 20, 1982, at a Topeka hospital.
He was born July 31, 1916, at West Plains, Mo., the son of Joseph Francis and Hannah Julia Lippe Cunningham. He came to Rossville when he was three years old, later spent 15 years in Salina before he returned to Rossville eight years ago.
Mr. Cunningham farmed near Rossville.
He was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Delia.
He married Anna Elizabeth Stalhin, February 22, 1942, at Holton. She died June 22, 1951.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn S. Layne, Rossville, and Anna F. Cunningham, of the home; two sons, Joseph F. Cunningham, Kerrville, Tex., and Richard W. Cunningham, Norfolk, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Gashler, Scott City, and Mrs. Delia Freiz, Greenwood, Iowa; a brother, John D. Cunningham, Topeka; and six grandchildren.
Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Topeka. The family met with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association 5229 W. 7th, Topeka, 66606.
