    Obituary- Cutbirth, Cord
    Cord Ferris Cutbirth was born in Kansas City, Kansas, April 3, 1906. At the age of 1 year his parents moved to Kansas City, Mo., where he made his home until coming to Silver Lake. He joined the DeMolays at the age of 16 and was also a member of the M.W.A. He attended the Mark Twain ward school and also Westport high school in Kansas City. He married Beatrice Lawrence of Silver Lake February 13, 1928. Beside his wife he is survived by his mother and father, a brother and one sister. Funeral services were held at the home of E.H. Cutbirth Tuesday, October 9th, conducted by the Rev. Edwin N. Judd. Interment was in Memorial Park cemetery at Kansas City, Mo.

    Mrs. Irene Cleveland was in Silver Lake Tuesday morning to attend the funeral of Ferris Cutbirth, the young man who lost his life Sunday night when his motorcycle collided with a lumber wagon driven by George Eiserman of Delia. The funeral was held at the home of his uncle, Everett (Ben) Cutbirth. The body was taken to Kansas City, Mo., for burial in Memorial Park cemetery.
