  Obituary- Denning, Phyllis Phyllis Jean Denning, 65, passed away on May 22, 2023. She was born on July 31, 1957, to Ralph and Lola Sutton. She grew up with her brothers, Gary and Ron Sutton, in Hunter, KS. She married Clyde Denning February 1st, 1980. They had two children, William and Jennifer. Over the years Phyllis worked for the USD #321 school district, Pottawatomie County EMS, and owned and operated Phyl's Bar and Grill in St Marys, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lola, and her brother Gary Sutton. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Clyde Denning; her two children, William Denning and Jennifer Pardue; her grandchildren, Ivan, Tempest, and Ethinee Ryland; and her brother, Ron Sutton. A private burial ceremony will be held with family at a later date. The family asks for privacy at this time as they mourn the loss of a wife, mother, and friend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Midland Hospice House.
