| Obituary- Dudney, Vincent VINCENT G. DUDNEY
Vincent G. Dudney, 75, Dover, died Tuesday, May 5, 1981, at a Topeka convalescent center. .
He was born April 25, 1906, in Wabaunsee County, the son of William and Nellie Starbird Dudney. He spent most of his life in the Dover community.
Mr. Dudney worked at North American Aviation at Kansas City, Ks., and later was a truck driver at Forbes Supply Depot at Topeka. He retired from the Gas Service Company in 1970 after working for the company 42 years.
He was a member of Dover Lodge No. 138, AF&AM, and Nina Chapter No. 486 of Order of Easter Star, both at Dover, and Loyal Order of Moose No. 555, Topeka.
He was married to Edna L. Lister September 5, 1931, at Kimball, Nebr. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Ketter,
Topeka, and Mrs. Jo Ann Crow, Dover; a son, Bryce Dudney, Rossville; four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Parre, Osage City,
Mrs. Jennie Johnston, Eskridge, Mrs. Margie Weinmeister, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. June Olsen, San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Paul Dudney, Titusville, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dover Federated Church. Graveside services were conducted by Dover Lodge No. 138, AF&AM, in Dover Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a fund to be designated later by relatives and sent in care of Austin Funeral Home, Eskridge.
