    Edward R. Dannefer
    Edward Rhule Dannefer, 65, former Topeka resident, died Saturday morning in a Hays hospital.
    Born May 24, 1887, at Cuba, Kan., he was Cuba’s postmaster for many years. He had lived in Hays for the last three years, and was a Shawnee County resident for 15 years prior to that.
    Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Alex Francis, Hays and Mrs. Robert Ledingham, Okinawa; two brothers, William Dannefer, Omaha, and Frank Dannefer, Rossville; a sister, Mrs. E. S. Kennedy, Kansas City, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held at the Parker Mortuary at 2 p.m. Monday and the body brought to Rossville for burial in Rossville Cemetery.
