    Chester “Chet” L. Duncan
    Chester “Chet” Leslie Duncan, 6o, Topeka, died Thursday, October 17,1996, at his home.

    25 years at Rossville High School until he retired. He also served 20 years in the National Guard.
    He was born September 25, 1930, at Bushong, the son of Benjamin Carl and Violetta McClure Duncan. He attended Emporia State University and was graduated from Washburn University. He earned a master’s degree from Wil¬liam and Mary College at Williamsburg, Va. He moved to Topeka from Emporia in 1952.
    Mr. Duncan was a member of KNEA and NEA.
    He was married to Patricia Ann Roberts on December 29, 1948, at Hutchinson. She survives.
    Other survivors include four sons, Daniel A. Duncan, Kansas City, KS, James M. Duncan, Spring, TX, Phillip B. Duncan, Jacksonville, NC, and Bruce E. Duncan, Virginia Beach, VA; three daughters, Melinda J. McNish and Robin L. Duncan, both of Topeka, and Leslie A. Nelson, Osborne; three brothers, William B. Duncan, Escondido, CA, Vernon R. Duncan, Homewood, IL, and Rob¬ert E. Duncan, Emporia; and 17 grandchildren.
    Mr. Duncan was cremated. Memorial services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Chapel. Burial of cremains was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice care, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka 66606.

    Chester Leslie Duncan
    Chester Leslie Duncan, 66, Topeka, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 1996, at his home.
    Mr. Duncan was a teacher, and he coached football, track and cross country. He had taught five years at Crane Junior High School, five years at Alma High School and 25 years at Rossville High School until he retired. He also served 20 years in the National Guard.
    He was born Sept. 25, 1930, at Bushong, the son of Benjamin Carl and Violetta McClure Duncan. He attended Emporia State University and was graduated from Washburn University. He earned a mas¬ter's degree from William and Mary Col¬lege at Williamsburg, Va. He moved to Topeka from Emporia in 1952.
