  Obituary- Eaken, Lester Lester L. Eaken BLUE RAPIDS — Lester L. Eaken, 74, Blue Rapids, died Friday at a Marysville hospital. He was born May 28, 1907, at Elm Grove, Mo., the son of John M. and Ethel Marrs Eaken. He lived in Rossville from 1950 until 1970 when he moved to Blue Rapids. Mr. Eaken was a machine operator for Jackson County and a member of First Baptist Church, Blue Rapids. He married Viola Stansberry Oct. 19, 1929, at Union Grove, Mo. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Helen Miller, Blue Rapids, and Mrs. Geraldine Keefover, Great Bend; a son, Paul Eaken, Port Hueneme, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and five great¬grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Blue Rapids. Memorial contributions may be made to the church in care of Perry Funeral Home.
