| Obituary- Eakin, Dale Eakin
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Garner, for Dale G. Eakin, 85, Phoenix, Ariz., forŽmerly of Delia. He died Thursday, Jan. 12, 1989, at a Phoenix hospital.
Mr. Eakin was a farmer in the Delia community many years.
He was born Feb. 9, 1903, at Delia, the son of George G. and Clara E. Mills Eakin.
He was married to Catherine McNeive on Aug. 10, 1928. She died Nov. 15, 1975.
Survivors include two daughters, Clara Brooks and Mary Rose, both of Phoenix; two sons, George Eakin, Stilwell, and Dale A. Eakin, Topeka; a sister, Esther Uhl, Spring Hill; a brother, Emery Eakin, Delia; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery at Edgerton. Relatives and friends will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bruce Funeral Home in Gardner.
