    Had Been an Operator and House
    Manager in Topeka Theaters

    A. F. Davis, 49 died in the Veteran’s hospital at Leavenworth Monday morning, May 1, 1933, from paralysis. He had been in the hospital almost three years. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American war and was operator and house manager of various Topeka theaters for 20 years. He was born at Peabody, October 5, 1883. He was a member of the Topeka camp of the United Spanish War Veterans and the Security Benefit association. His home was at 615 Madison street.

    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edith Davis; a daughter, Mrs. H. Wibel, Topeka; a son, Clarence Earl Davis, Albuquerque, N. M.; and an aunt, Mrs. Mae Miller, Peabody, Kansas.

    Funeral services were held at the chapel of the Veteran’s Administration home at Leavenworth, Wednesday afternoon a 2 o’clock.

    Mrs. Gertie Wallace attended the funeral of A. F. Davis, Leavenworth, Kansas, Wednesday.
