| Obituary- Davis, Francis FRANCIS B. DAVIS
Services were at 3:30 p.m. Monday, at Archer-Hampel Funeral Home, Wayland, Mich., for Francis B. Davis, 74, Dorr, Mich. He died April 8, 1982, at an Allegan, Mich., nursing home. He had cancer.
He was born February 29, 1908, at Rossville, the son of Henry H. and Blanche Baird Davis.
Mr. Davis worked at Los Angeles, Calif., Department of Water and Power most of his life. He moved to Michigan after he retired.
He was a member of a Masonic Lodge at Los Angeles, and Wayland Post No. 7581 of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wayland. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
His wife, Mrs. Alice Smith Davis, survives.
Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Haynes and Betty Pence, both of Topeka, and three brothers, Glen Davis, Holton, Dale Davis, Ozawkie, and Elmer Davis, Rossville.
Military graveside services were conducted by Wayland Post No. 7581 of VFW in Burnips Cemetery, Burnips, Mich. Archer Hampel Funeral Home in Wayland, Mich. Was in charge of arrangements.
