  Obituary- Edwards, Francis Francis M. Edwards Francis M. Edwards, 67, Silver Lake, died this morning in a Topeka hospital where he was admitted March 5. He was born May 1, 1910, at Delia and lived in Junction City for 24 years be¬fore moving to Silver Lake in Septem¬ber 1977. He was a welder for Union Pacific Railroad for 43 years before retiring in 1974. Mr. Edwards was a member of First Baptist Church, Silver Lake, and Union Pacific Oldtimers Club. He was married to Geraldine Queen, on July 27, 1940, at Topeka. She sur¬vives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Nakoneczny, 1184 Mulvane; a sisters, Mrs. Vera Smith, Springfield, Mo., and three grandchil¬dren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Davidson-Duff Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, north of Silver Lake. Mr. Edwards will lie in state after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3003 Van Buren, Topeka 66611.
