    Richard Franklin Evans
    ROSSVILLE - Richard Franklin Evans, 71, Rossville, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, at Midland Hospice House. He was born Jan. 11, 1933, in Madison, to Adren and Amber Evans. Richard was a Korean War veteran and a graduate of Kansas State University. Surviving are his wife, Carol; a son, Richard Evans Jr.; and a daughter, Melissa Evans, Elkins, Ark.; a daughter, Michelle Evans-White , South Bend, Ind.; their spouses and partners, Saundra, Shari and Greg; four grandchildren, Allison, Jacob and Jeremy Evans, and Brendon White; brothers, Adren Evans Jr., Bartlesville, Okla., and Phillip Evans, Kansas City, Mo.; and sisters, Dorothy Hyle, Manhattan, Betty Patterson, Colorado Springs, Colo., Phyllis Long, Flagstaff, Ariz., and Elaine Evans, Lynwood, Calif. Private family graveside inurnment services will be in Blakely Cemetery in Madison. Memorials may be given to Midland Hospice House, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka, 66606. Davidson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
