| Anniversary- Davis, James and Nannie PASS FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY
Last Wednesday, January 25, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Davis, of Silver Lake township passed their 50th wedding anniversary in a quiet manner at their home.
The fact they were not feeling as well as their usual good health and the icy roads forced them to give up attempting an open house.
However, news of their anniversary spread around to friends and they were deluged with cards of greetings and congratulations from many communities.
Mr. and Mrs. Davis were married in 190C at West Liberty, Ky, and returned to Rossville and made their first home southwest of Rossville on the farm now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Davis.
An interesting note about this farm, is that during the past 50 years, in various changes in ownership there always has been one of the Davis brothers or their sons occupying the place.
Mr. and Mrs. Davis asked a few words of thanks and appreciation be extended to friends for the greeting cards and letters.
