The children of Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Dayton, Rossville, will hold open house Sunday, September 25, 1983, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Rossville United Methodist Church in honor of their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Dayton were married in Cumberland, Md., September 23, 1933.
Their six children are: C. Ronald Dayton, deceased; Nancy Brooks, Rossville; John Dayton, Overland Park; Dan A. Dayton, Wichita; J. Kathleen Kovar, Rossville; and Richard Dayton, Topeka. The couple has fifteen grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 7:30 this evening (Tuesday) at the Rossville United Methodist Church for Ronald C. Dayton, 48, formerly of Rossville, who died Friday, July 1, 1983, at his home in Placentia, Calif. Cremation is planned and inurnment is pending.
Mr. Dayton was born August 11, 1934, in Pennsylvania, the son of Charles D. and Sophia Garretson Dayton. He moved to Topeka in 1945, and was graduated from Topeka High School in 1952. He was graduated from Washburn University in Topeka in 1959.
Mr. Dayton was president of Unimetric Corp., Fullerton, Calif. He served three years in the Marine Corps.
He was married to Donna Sederberg December 4, 1954, in California. She survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Cheryl Baldreas and Mrs. Laurel Steigerwald, both of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Pamela Meier, Ontario, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Brooks and Mrs. Kathy Kovar, both of Rossville; three brothers, John Dayton, Overland Park, Don Dayton, Wichita, and Rick Dayton, Topeka; and a grandson.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Rossville United Methodist Church.

ROSSVILLE — Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rossville United Methodist Church for C. Ronald Dayton, 48, Placentia, Calif., former¬ly of Topeka. He died Friday, July 1 at his home. Autopsy results are pending at Orange County Coroner's Office, Santo Ana, Calif.
He was born Aug. 11, 1934, in Pennsylvania, the son of Charles D. and Sophia Garretson Dayton. He came to Topeka in 1945 and was graduated from Topeka High School in 1952. He later was graduated from Washburn University in Topeka in 1959.
Mr. Dayton was president of Unimetric Corp., Fullerton, Calif. He served three years in the Marine Corps.
