| Obituary- DeBarrows, Frank Frank DeBarrows Dead
Frank DeBarrows died Tuesday from injuries received the day previous when he was caught by one of the big locomotive cranes in the Santa Fe shops. The young mans leg was crushed off and he never recovered from the shock. He had just gone to work for the wrecking company who were tearing down a brick wall between one of the old shop buildings and a new addition which had been recently comŽpleted. He was working on the wall and it is supposed he did not see the big crane as it backed onto him.
Frank was born and raised in Rossville. He is a son of John DeBarrows who resides in CaliforŽnia. His mother died when he was very small and his grandŽmother, the late Mrs. DeBarrows raised he and his sister Margaret.
The funeral was held this (Thursday) afternoon at the Methodist church and the interŽment was made in the Rossville cemetery. Frankie since the death of his grandmother has made his own way in the world and, it was with genuine regret the news of his untimely death was received in this city. He is survived by one sister, Margaret, who lives in Missouri, and his father in California.
