LOUISE C. DEDONDER
Louise C. DeDonder, 85, died Friday, March 16, 2007, at the Com¬munity Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born Sept. 10, 1921, at Paxico, the daughter of Michael and Mary Meinhardt Zeller. She grew up in the Newbury community and graduated from Paxico High School.
Mrs. DeDonder was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. She was a 4-H Leader and enjoying quilting, needle¬work, flower gardening, her grand-children and great grandchildren.
She had lived in the Sandy Hook community all of her married life un¬til moving into St. Marys a few years ago.
On June 16, 1942, she was united in marriage to Philip DeDonder at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newbury. He died Jan. 10, 1992. She was also preceded in death by a son Christopher DeDonder in 1963 and siblings Sr. Maxine Zeller, OSB, Thelma Caponegro, Mildred Degenhardt and Florian Zeller.
Survivors include three daughters, Karen (Jim) Mulligan, St Maiys, Marr Ann (Don) Davis, Silver Lake, and Peggy (Malcolm) Smith, St. Marys; eight sons, Frank (Marsha DeDonder, St. Marys, Dick (Cathy) DeDonder, St. George, Joe (Bonnie) DeDonder, Bill (Donna) DeDonder, Bob (Becky) DeDonder, Andy DeDonder, Greg DeDonder and Tim (Cathy) DeDonder, all of St. Marys; two sisters, Verena Seberg and Mercedes Sayler both of Topeka and a brother Alvin Zeller, Paxico; 34 grandchildren and 68 great-grandchildren
Mass of Christian Burial was cel¬ebrated Monday, March 19, at Immaculate Conception Catholic I Church in St. Marys. Interment was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or to the Center for Basic Cancer Research at KSU and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, St. Marys.
