  Obituary- DeDonder, Robert ROBERT L. “BOB” DEDONDER Robert L. “Bob” DeDonder, 56, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at his rural St. Marys home. He was born July 4, 1951, at Wamego, the son of Philip V. and Louise C. Zeller DeDonder. Bob attended Immaculate Con¬ception Catholic Grade School and graduated from St. Marys High School in 1969. He attended Man-hattan Vo-Tech School and received a certificate in drafting. He served in the United States Air Force and had been stationed at Forbes Air Force Base in Topeka. Mr. DeDonder was a farmer and stockman. He was a member of Im¬maculate Conception Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Coun¬cil No. 657 and a fourth degree mem¬ber of Thomas McNeive Assembly No 289, all in St. Marys. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Christopher. On Aug. 23, 1975, he was united in marriage to Rebecca A. “Becky” Harries at Immaculate Conception Church in St. Marys. She survives of the home. Other survivors include a son, Curtis DeDonder, Topeka; three daughters, Lisa Johnson, Hutchinson, Amy Becker, Clovis, Calif., and Julie DeDonder, Hutchinson; three sisters, Karen Mulligan, St. Marys, Mary Ann Davis, Silver Lake and Peggy Smith, St. Marys; seven brothers, Frank DeDonder, St. Marys, Dick DeDonder, St. George, Joe DeDonder, Bill DeDonder, St. Marys, Andy DeDonder, Wetmore, Greg DeDonder and Tim DeDonder, St. Marys; three grandchildren, Shayla and Alex Johnson, and Sophia DeDonder. Do Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, March 31, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Interment was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Midland Hospice to the American Cancer Society and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, KS 66536.
