    John W. DeGraff
    REPUBLIC, Mo. - John W. DeGraff, 69, Republic, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1991, at a Springfield nursing home.

    Mr. DeGraff was retired from the water department, city utilities, in Springfield. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

    He was born Dec. 12, 1921 at Rossville, Kan., the son of Charles E. and Alice Stum DeGraff. His wife, Wanda Beaty DeGraff survives. A son Ray DeGraff, died in June 1960.

    Survivors include four daughters, Glenna Kraft, Monett; Pam Morrison, Purdy; and Cheryl DeGraff and LaVeda Hail, both of Denver, Co.; seven sisters, Phylis Roney and Lottie McGuire, both of Topeka, Ks., Vera Sicking, Clinton, Mo., Dolly Heiland, Rossville, Kan., Patricia Brown, Meriden, Kan., and Doris Mohler and Bonnie Thomas, both of Silver Lake, Kan.; and a grandson.

    Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Rossville, Ks. Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 until 8 p.m. today in Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. Later visitation will be from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday in Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka, Kan. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
