  Obituary- Denton, Carl Carl Denton Carl Denton, 42 years of age, who was buried in Rossville Cemetery Thursday, November 20, by Verschelden’s of St. Marys, was a brother of Clifford Denton of St. Marys. He died November 16 at the Wadsworth veterans hospital after having been hospitalized since August 11th 1943. He sustained injuries while in army training. He was born January 13, 1910, in Rossville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Denton, of Maple Hill. He entered the army June 11, 1943. Besides his parents he is survived by two other brothers, Gerald Denton of Los Angeles and Lloyd Denton of Casper, Wyoming. Graveside services were held Wednesday at the city cemetery for Carl Denton, who passed away Monday at Veterans Administration Center, at Wadsworth, Kansas. He was the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Denton and lived in Rossville with his parents, for several years.
