    Lawrence R. Dohrman
    Lawrence R. “Larry” Dohrman, 63, St. Marys, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, in St. Marys.
    He was born October 18, 1941, in Wamego, the son of John J. and Marie L. Joyce Dohrman.
    Larry grew up in the St. Marys community and graduated from St. Marys High School in 1960. He lived in the St. Marys community all of his life.
    He served in the Army National Guard and was called to active duty for two years during the Vietnam War.
    He had been manager of the feed mill at the Farmers Union Co-op in St. Marys. He later owned Sunset Auto Sales in St. Marys. He owned Sunshine Auto Sales in Manhattan and recently owned Snip & Clip in Manhattan.
    Larry was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Marys. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 260, St. George.
    Survivors include a brother, Bill Dohrman, Augusta; a sister, Bonnie Irvine, Manhattan; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
    Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. Friday at Piper Funeral Home.
    Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple, St. Marys 66536.
