    Raphael J. ‘Ray’ Dohrman
    NEWTON — Raphael J. "Ray" Dohrman, 69, Newton, died Thursday, Dec. 6. at a Halstead hospital.
    Mr. Dohrman was a livestock order buyer at. Newton for the past 18 years. He previously owned and operated Mr. D's Drive-In and Restaurant at St. Marys.
    He was born Aug. 25, 1915, at St. Marys, the son of John and Mary Bruninn Dohrman.
    Mr. Dohrman was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at Newton.
    He was married to Helen Hanrahan on Feb. 5, 1940, at Delia. She survives.
    Other survivors include a daughter. Mrs. Dorothy Koch, Newton; eight sisters, Mrs. Germaine Durow and Mrs. Catherine Reilly, both of Topeka, Mrs. Regina "Sally" Simecka, Mrs. Margaret Tomson and Mrs. Delores Floersch. all of Delia, Mrs. Mary Jones, Salina, and Mrs. Veronica Dary and Mrs. Monica McKinley, both of Kansas City, Kan.; two brothers, Lee Dohrman and Paul Dohrman, both of St. Marys; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Newton. Burial will be in Restlawn Garden of Memory at Newton. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church or Harvey County Chapter of American Heart Association in care of Petersen Funeral Home in Newton.
