| Anniversary- Dolezilek, Stanislaus and Ann A mass of thanksgiving and a 50th wedding anniversary reception will honor Mr. and Mrs. Stan Dolezilek Sunday, Sept. 4 in Assumption Catholic Church.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend the mass at 10.30 a.m. and the reception from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the church hall. The couple requests that no gifts be presented.
Hosts will be their children, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Frost. Columbus, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Holmes; and their families.
Mr. and Mrs. Dolezilek were married Sept. 5, 1927 in Kimeo. Mr. Dolezilek farmed in the Rossville area until 1943. He was employed by American Yearbook Co. for 20 years prior to his retirement. Mrs. Dolezilek was graduated from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing and was employed by St. Francis, Stormont-Vail and Memorial Hospitals before her retirement.

Stanislaus J. Dolezilek, 85, Topeka, died Saturday, Sept, 12, 1987, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Dolezilek was a farmer in the Rossville area until 1942, then worked for the Josten Yearbook Co. until his retirement in 1967.
He was born April 7, 1902, at Rossville, the son of Anthony and Albina Halda Dolezilek.
Mr. Dolezilek was a member of the Catholic Church of the Assumption.
He married Ann O’Donnell Sept. 5, 1927, at Kimeo. The couple recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Roberta Frost, Columbus, Ohio, and Betty Holmes, Topeka; two sisters, Gabriella O’Donnell, San Francisco, Calif., and Blanche Allen, Topeka; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Catholic Church of the Assumption. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Rosaries will be recited by St. Patrick’s Circle at 6 p.m. followed by a parish rosary at 6:30 p.m. today at Brennan Funeral Home where relatives and friends will meet from 2 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Kansas Affiliate, 3210 E. Douglas, Wichita, 67208-3309.
