    Dale E. Failer
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home for Dale Edwin Failer, 47, Topeka, who died Saturday, April 8, 1995, at a Topeka hospital. He had been ill about a year.
    He was born Dec. 19, 1947, in Willard west of Topeka, the son of John E. and Frances I. Brayman Failer, and was graduated from Delia High School in 1966. He spent most of his life in Topeka. He was a roofer.
    He served in Company D of the First Battalion of the 26th Infantry in the Army in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969.
    He was a former member of Local No. 20 of the Roofers Union and a former member of A Brotherhood Against Totalitarian Enactments (ABATE) motorcycle organization.
    He was married to Lori Oliver in 1969. They were divorced.
    Survivors include two daughters, Tricia Failer and Tracie Failer, both in Topeka; a sister, Kathryn Maus, Emmett; three brothers, John Failer and Richard Failer, both in Topeka, and James Failer, Silver Lake; and two grandchildren.
    Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion in Rossville will conduct graveside services at Rossville Cemetery. Mr. Failer will lie in state after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
    Contributions may be made to the Dale Failer Memorial Fund yet to be designated by relatives and sent in care of the funeral home.
