| Anniversary- Farley, James and Alice GOLDEN WEDDING
Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Farley were highly honored, Sunday on the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary, sponsored by their children, who gathered for the lovely family dinner served at the noon hour. The table was centered by cakes and cut flowers and the entire house was brilliant in color of autumn cut flowers and potted plants.
An open house from two to five was the feature of the day, when relatives, friends and neighbors called to extend best wishes and congratulations.
The long dining table was beautifully decorated in keeping with the anniversary. A two-tier wedding cake in white and gold topped with gold roses, and on each side were potted yellow mums which formed an attractive setting for the gift table; where the guests were served to cake and coffee. Mrs. Lawrence and Mrs. Jewel Hunsucker cut the cake and did the serving.
Mr. and Mrs. Farley headed the receiving line and Mrs. Farley wore a dark purple crepe dress and corsage of yellow roses, a gift from her daughter.
The table was well filled with lovely gifts from their children and friends.
