    Roy W. Fields
    Roy W. Fields, 61, 1707 Van Buren, died Sunday in a Topeka hospital. He had multiple sclerosis several years.
    He was born April 26, 1909, at Onaga, and lived at Wamego before he moved to Topeka about 30 years ago. He was a veteran of World War II, having served overseas three years.
    He was a section foreman for Union Pacific Railroad before he retired in 1964.
    He was married to Beulah H. Highfill Jan. 16, 1946. She surŽvives.
    Other survivors include a stepson, Clarence L. Freeman, 1929 Lane; a brother, William Levi Fields, Osage City; a sister, Mrs. Martha Strimple, 544 Golden, and three stepgrandchildren.
    Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
