| Obituary- Fields, Theodore THEODORE FIELDS
Services for Theodore Fields, 78, of Manhattan, formerly of Topeka, were held Monday at 2:30 P.M. at the Stewart Memorial home in Wamego, with the Rev. Julien Johnson officiating. Burial was in Wamego Cemetery. Masonic Graveside Service was by Hesperian Lodge Ill, Rossville. He died Friday at the Jolly Rest Home in Manhattan.
Mr. Fields was born July 18, 1880, at Alma, Kansas. After leaving Alma Mr. and Mrs. Fields moved to the Rossville Community in 1918. They lived for a time on a farm southeast of Rossville, later moving to Rossville where for many years. Mr. Fields operated a Standard Oil Filling Station.
In 1945, Mr. and Mrs. Fields moved to Topeka where he was em¬ployed by the Socony Mobil Oil Co.
His wife preceded him in death in 1950.
He was a member of the Topeka Shrine and The Order of the Eastern Star and the Alma Masonic lodge, later transferring his membership to Hesperian Lodge in Rossville, Kansas.
He is survived by three sisters, Miss Alta Fields of Manhattan, Miss Mattie Blanchard of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Jessie Clardy of Cushing, Okla.
Those from Rossville attending the funeral of Mr. Theodore Fields at Wamego were Mr. and Mrs. H.F. Syring, L.B. Crow, Clifford Cormack, Marlin Harth, Ernest Decker, Bob Gentry, K. Crow and Del¬bert Olson.
