Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Mrs. Mary Agnes Germonprez, 88, 729 Oakland, who died Friday in a Topeka convalescent center.
She was born Feb. 20, 1889, at St. Marys, the daughter of Henry and Catherine Meyer, and lived in Topeka since 1937.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society at the church. She also was a member of the Legion of Mary, Hi Neighbors Club, and Senior Citizens. She formerly worked at St. Francis Hospital Her husband, Henry C. Germonprez, died Jan. 22, 1944.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Germonprez, 406 Liberty; and four daughters, Mrs. Germaine Watson, Gilroy, Calif., Mrs. Rosemary Mclnteer, Manhattan, Mrs. Jeanne DeKeyser, 709 Sumner, and Mrs. Betty Lawant, Marysville, Calif.
Also surviving are a brother, Clarence Meyer, St. Marys; six sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Gilgannon. Mrs. Rose Heinisch, and Mrs. Lucille Clark, all in Topeka, Mrs. Martha Immenschuh, Silver Lake, Mrs. Catherine Cowan and Mrs. Leona Perry, both at Rossville; 20 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Topeka. Mrs. Germonprez will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Brennan Funeral Home where a Bible vigil service is planned at 7 p.m. Monday.
