    Timothy B. Gillgannon

    Timothy Bernard Gillgannon, 84, 659 McVicar, died Friday at a Topeka hospital after an extended illness.

    He was born Sept 27, 1894, at Delia.

    Mr. Gillgannon was a road building contractor in Oregon and lived in Portland many years. He came to Topeka in August 1978 and was hospitalized shortly after arrival.

    He was an Army veteran of World War I.

    He was a member of a Catholic church in Portland, Ore.

    Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. May Duesenberry, Medford, Ore., Mrs. Monica Moylan, Emmett, and Mrs. Winifred Ciaxton, Kansas City, and two brothers, I.M. Gillgannon, 859 McVicar, and Dr. Patrick Joseph Gillgannon, Leavenworth.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Mr. Gillgannon will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Brennan's Funeral Home. Parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
